The Irish pub in the city tends to get quite crowded, especially during festivals and events. We visited during the Dunedin Mardi Gras, and it was packed, but we managed to secure two spots at the bar. I ordered a Guinness draft, while my friend had a vodka tonic, and our total bill was just $11, which felt very reasonable. Additionally, the bartenders were quick and attentive, especially considering how busy they were. I will definitely return when I want a lively atmosphere in Dunedin.
Gotta give us 5 stars if for no other reason, but to realize how hard the bartender / Waitress/Host worked. She had the floor to herself and held a great attitude, although she was quite busy. Kudos to her. The food was also quite daring delicious. My wife and I split the frits with Guinness Gravy, then we split the Shepherd's Pie. Both articles were delicious! We hope we will come back to the city next time.
This restaurant truly embodies the essence of an Irish pub, and the Bangers and Mash were fantastic. We visited on March 16, the day before St. Patrick's Day, and a representative was there giving away free Guinness to my brother-in-law. It was an unforgettable experience! The staff was outstanding as well.

Ok. Look. This place is one of those rare spots where you can get good, wholesome, filling , and TRUE Irish pub grub. Prices are decent, staff is attentive, food is delicious. I'm shocked this place isn't busier on a Friday afternoon. People, GET here, it's good!
Not only does this place speak for itself as an Irish pub, but the Bangers and Mash were incredible. We were there on March 16th, the day before St. Paddy's, and a rep was in the place giving out swag and free Guiness. We had a blast! The staff are all amazing.
Typical Irish pub great prices and the food is really good my go to are the Irish tacos you can get 2 or 3 .. always get the 3 they are stuffed and spiceyyyyyy !!!!!!!!!
