Ordered through the just eat app, food arrived on time, however it was missing items and was stone cold. Reported this via the app and was told to contact the restaurant, the restaurant told us not their problem they served sub standard food and forgot to send the items we ordered. So we are left out of pocket and wasted our money with absolutely no resolution offered. We chose this over local companies as it’s always been top class service, however when the chips are down….or not included in your delivery nobody wants to take ownership. Lost customers after tonight and for every bad service word of mouth reviews are the quickest way to lose customers
I had a simple meal consisting of a pickle tray, popadoms, a large delicious pashwari naan, a thick but somewhat bland darka dhal that I did not enjoy, and Green Massala Lamb. I also had two non-alcoholic beers. The total cost was £27, which I found to be quite expensive when compared to the option of cooking at home. The Green Massala Lamb was nothing extraordinary and ended up causing some indigestion, which was alleviated by drinking a glass of milk. While I understand the challenges faced by businesses with rising costs, unless they offer something truly special, the value of the meal was not worth the price.
We are quite local and have over the past few years seen a terrible reduction in quality. Over the last 18 months have for obvious reasons used their take away delivery service and the last two meals have shown a terrible reduction in quality, used to be good quality food but now we will not use them again. Sad but bad quality twice in a row doesn’t offer anything. I would suggest that perhaps the food in the restaurant may be better as they wouldn’t have the courage to produce bad food face to face. Don’t have the take away.
As curry lovers we regularly frequent Flava and find the food delicious and high quality. The menu is extensive with a great selection of chef’s specials alongside all of your expected traditional dishes. There are lots of vegetarian and vegan options and the staff are always happy to adapt dishes to make them vegetarian. The friendly staff always make us feel super welcome and takeaways are always promptly delivered. You can now order drinks from The Anchor pub next door too.

I have visited Flava numerous times over the years, and I must say, the recent changes to their menu have greatly improved the overall dining experience. The food was superbly cooked and delicious. In particular, I highly enjoyed the new coconut fish curry and the Radoni Goust dishes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
Clean, pleasant, Christmas decorations up. Friendly service from waiter. I ordered the Chicken Tawa with extra garlic. A truly spectacular dish, bursting with flavour and beautifully cooked. FLAVA remains hands down the very best Indian in Upton. If you haven’t at least tried a take away, I urge you to. Well done lads.
We were delighted that Flava could once again supply the food for our end of season bash. They were obliging, prompt and incredibly helpful in supplying a variety of curries, sides and poppadoms. Muj also has a charming and professional approach. Highly recommended!
Can't understand some of the negative reviews as we have never experienced a bad meal here. Visited with friends mid week and enjoyed another excellent meal friendly service. Tasty well presented food. Well worth a visit or a takeaway.

We get takeout from Flava every Sunday. The food is excellent and we are always greeted with a smile. We wouldn't go anywhere else.
