This place should not be on Happy Cow. They are completely hostile to vegans. Though they have a vegan menu almost nothing on it is actually vegan. The tofu is fried in the same oil as chicken, making it not vegan. I mentioned this to the waitress, she dismissed our concern because she used to be a vegan and is now so over that, she had no patience for those of us still consumed by it apparently. So we ordered a fresh spring roll, which was actually good and tasted vegan. Nice Hoisin sauce.. But then we ordered a Tom Yum lemongrass soup. It tasted like fish sauce even though the waitress checked with the kitchen and they denied putting fish sauce in it. We also ordered two Chinese main dish...
I hadn’t been here in so many years, but I am glad that I did. This is an “Asian Fusion” Restaurant that has several different cuisines. I usually worry about “fusion” places because that may mean that they don’t do anything particularly well, it we were pleasantly surprised. Surprised and delighted that they have a special separate Vegan menu, too. You are not restricted to the Vegan menu, though because they can do any dish as vegan. They clearly understand vegan cooking. We started with fresh spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce. The spring rolls were large and tasty. I had a Vegetable Pho that was so large I had to take half of it home. It was so tasty and came with a plate of sprouts...
Flavors of Asia used to be my favorite restaurant. That was back when it was the original owner and it won Best of Rochester a few times. Each time it's changed owners the food quality went down a little bit. A few owners later and the food is good butnot great. The service is always WONDERFUL! My recent problem has been with the hours. Two or three times I've come in for lunchand it's been closed. I've come in around noon and end up pulling on a locked door with a sign that say they open at 11:00 am.It also says they are closed from 3 4, reopening at 4. Today we showed up at 2:33 and they told me they're closed from 3 4.I thought, but it's not 3, it's not 2:55. It's not 2:45. It's not even...

Given 45 min on my order that food would be ready..that literally turned into an hour and 45 mins Get home to find that I don?t even have tofu in my curry tofu dish. Let alone much of any veggies and a very strange tasting curry like nothing I have tasted before. Unreal! I couldn?t even eat it. I had to drive back which isn?t right around the corner. Although they had no problem giving me my money back I am very disappointed because this place truly used to be good. Unfortunately I will not return.

I ordered lunch for my office of 12 people on Thursday and hoped it wouldn't overpower the restaurant. When I picked up the food, it was not only done in time, but the worker at the counter had marked everything that was absolutely necessary for me to be able to distribute all orders successfully without failing. She was also incredibly nice and I appreciate her conversation and her contemplation absolutely. In addition, they all ran over their food. I will order from here absolutely. I went and took food from the restaurant last week and the counter was in the bathroom when I was there. I waited 5 minutes before someone talked to me and when the opponent came out of the bathroom, they were clearly high for something and had to be asked several times to do things from the other staff. it solved my fear to the point that aI was extremely unpleasant. I'm not sure if I'll order from here for a while. Food is okay, although little taste is missing a little.
Ordered takeout late on a Sunday... I know you guys want to go home but yikes. I got a strawberry smoothie that was a tasteless red slushie. And fried rice that was a little less than what I was hoping. I give two stars because I feel bad ordering so late, even though they may have made the food without care. The smoothie almost pushes it down to 1 star. I think they probably have good stuff, but I would not get a smoothie or fried rice. Or maybe just don't order too late.

They have a full vegan menu and were very happy to answer my questions! Very friendly staff and totally on board with vegan customers. I had vegetable steamed dumplings and sesame tofu. All was delish! I would give it 5 stars, but that’s not an option on HappyCow for restaurants that aren’t fully vegan.
Love this place! Never had a bad meal. Recommend to eat in all this hot! Great service, great coconut curry soup. Good stuff!
