I would give them no stars if possible. Mr. Fleckenstein was the absolute best in assisting with my wonderful cake orders for my children over the years. I went into the bakery today and Ray Fleckenstein was absolutely horrible with customer service, his reasoning for NOT doing my simple cake request (see image below) and ignorant attitude. It really is a shame that this gentleman has taken over and treats the community's customers this way, especially after all the support I have given them. This bakery is amazing! Even though we moved away years ago, we made sure to visit while in town visiting family. It's just as fantastic as we remembered. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed some delicious donuts, a gorgeous and tasty cake to share with the family, and even found a gluten-free banana nut bread for those with celiac or sensitivities.
For the amount of business they do there isn't much room to stand in the lines every morning. However, it's worth every minute you wait. One of the few places left you can get genuine good bakery donuts. I don't even think they're more expensive than dunkin' donuts anymore.
