Today, at Flight, we were treated to a master class in appalling customer service. We were shown to a table and handed drinks menus. We waited, and then we waited a bit more. After about 15 minutes, we gave up on the idea of someone coming to take our order so we placed the order at the bar. We then waited, and waited a bit more. In fact, we waited so long the people on the next table asked what the hell we’d ordered. I thought we might get a ‘sorry for your wait’ when the drinks eventually turned up. Unfortunately not.
