Tried the gym shoe sub and it was amazing. Messy but tasted so good. Got the 12 and should have stuck with the regular size. Food was made fresh and fast. Small parking lot but plenty of side street parking if needed. I'll have to stop by a few moretimes to try other things I saw pictures of that looked good.
I grew up right around the corner from flips!!!! I since moved to TX and one of the biggest things I've missed is Flips!! Every time I come back to visit it's one of my first stops!!!
The restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes. I tried a salad, and it was quite substantial, so I was pleased to have a healthy option available.

Cheap, delicious, and enjoyable are words I would use to describe Flips My brother and I got 4 hotdogs and a gyro for just over 20 bones.
They have the best gyro ever.....I go there ever chance I get when I'm out in Glen ellyn.....they put so much meat on the pita bread..
We've been here since they opened up. Never had a bad sandwich. The Pastrami bottoms are worth my 20 minutes drive!! The best.

Classic. The gold standard for gyros. Not a bad thing on the menu. Spicy chicken sub is awesome too.
