The fish at this restaurant is delicious and the portions are generous. However, the burgers are small and overcooked. The staff can be challenging to deal with - the female employees often have difficulty hearing and frequently make mistakes with orders. It's best to double-check your order before leaving because they may assure you it's correct when it's not. The restaurant tends to have long lines, likely because there are limited dining options in the area.
We ordered large chips but they were actually the size of small chips and we were only served 2 portions, which were undercooked. Despite the fact that there were 3 of us, the meal was expensive for such a small serving. However, the pancake rolls were quite delicious.
Can honestly say this is the best fish and chip shop in the area and beyond. Always generous portions and cod and chips hits the mark. Yes there can be a large queue at peak times and that proves how popular this place is and its worth the wait.
The cod was good, and the pie was also good, but the portion of chips was disappointingly small. We usually get twice as much at other fish and chip shops. It was disappointing considering we paid £15. We will opt for Chinese food next time. Réservez une table maintenant
I visited Blackbirds for the first time on Thursday, January 18th and had a wonderful lunch experience. The food was hot and delicious, which is always important to me. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
So on 27 Nov, I take my father for a beer at the BlackBird, a pub I have frequented often in the past. We have a pleasant chat and a beer and leave....

We have a good-sized family takeaway from here about twice a month. There is now no reason to try anywhere else.
