"Garbage don't dare go. Food is GARR BAGE'. You've been WARNED... BG while I'm typing this review. Salmon cakes had NO salmon in it. The server said they use canned salmon and that's why the lack flavor. Ummmm...NOPE...I grew up eating salmon cakes from the can...but/and they were seasoned with onions..peppers etc. Home fries were frozen not fresh and still no onions or peppers or flavor. No strawberry or grape jelly...butter was too hard to slice for the toast. They tell you that you can pay and order via the qr app. Kool, but then she says if you want to tip your server that they prefer cash. Huhhhh?? Tip for what exactly... We just sat down...and waited about 6 min for glasses of water. G...

I'm so CONFUSED!!! Went to 11th and Florida Ave on a Thursday morning looking for the Florida Avenue Grill that I recall as an HU student in the 1990s. Found the building and the sign but a Jamaican restaurant is co-operating in its space?!?! The service from the Jamaican establishment was poor, bordering on rude, the food was not too bad however the salmon cakes were as dry as the sands on a Jamaican beach. Don't know how these two restaurants are co-existing in the same space, but they need to do a much better job at delineating when Florida Avenue Grill is operating vs when the Jamaican eatery is operating. The truly sad part for me was that breakfast at Florida Ave Grill was meant to sea...
