We stopped at Floyd while we were out. This Hometown café is obviously a favorite with locals. But only twelve minutes from I-20, Floyd's Cafe should also be a traveler's favorite. This is the place where Linda Ronstadt sang, where a hamburger sleeps on an open grill. Very simple all-American comfort food with large portions and home taste. The owners and employees are friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent. We visited on Thursday when the burger baskets are in special offer.
