Fluffy Rice - Réservation de table

We are big fans of Thai cuisine we have been in Thailand numerous times, and experienced the real authentic Thai food. Despite reading a few poor reviews, we wanted to go and experience this place ourselves. We ordered Massaman Lamb curry and Vegetable Penang curry coconut rice. We asked for jasmine tea, but got Chinese green tea, that was incredibly weak (and arrived without the leaves/or perhaps tea bags already removed). Then arrived two bowls of rice the bowls were incredibly hot just like taken from the microwave, and the flavour didn’t have a coconut flavour at all. Separating facts from opinions so you can make your own mind up Facts: £40 for 2x starters 2x mains. No sides e.g rice. No free prawn crackers. Meals do not come with rice. My Crying tiger dish (their specialty) was basically some steamed veg, a bit of meat and a tiny pot of vinaigrette sauce. Opinions: Really disappointing. Both my partner I agreed both our dishes were tasteless. The taste came from the side pot of sweet chilli sauce. This would have been ok if we had paid £20, but to have paid double that you expect the meals to be created much more skilfully diligently. Am new to Brentwood, think I’ll try somewhere else next time.

We visited Saturday evening The service was initially quite good but a wait between main course and rice. Their table booking service led to people waiting for their table while the diners finished.Staff don’t seem trained in basic cleaning and serving etiquette. There was no offer of a desert/coffe.The bill had 10% service and they charged £3 for card machine, I couldn’t believe it. Refused to pay the service charge due to card fee ,and left,definitely will not be going back

Best authentic Thai food in Brentwood. Forget the aesthetics … it looks like a beach shack but the food is just like it would be on a Thai beach. Fresh and tasty. Everything you order is cooked fresh to perfection. Only a few tables but Bea is so accommodating and friendly. Takeaway is most of the trade here but we often eat in. Licences too and the wine is pretty good too. Réservez une table maintenant

Haven't been here for quite a while due to some negative reviews even though we have previously enjoyed it here. The service and food was excellent considering it was a Saturday evening. A good menu that was explained when asked. Will definitely return.

What an excellent restaurant for proper authentic Thai food. Cosy restaurant, with welcoming staff. I can recommend the sea bass which comes with a beautifully hot salad. You don't get dishes like this at the chain Thai restaurants.

The flavour is always incredible and made very well! Maybe on the less spicy side of thai, but good quality. Every order has come super fast, never waited longer than 45 mins for a takeaway even on a Friday or saturday night

Placed order and then had it cancelled 10 minutes later. No reason etc and not even sure if money has been refunded. I’ve now cancelled Fluffy Rice. I will never use this restaurant ever again. Customer service zero!!! Réservez une table maintenant

Always friendly and delicious food at this small family run restaurant. The chicken or vegetable Green curry is always a favourite with tempura vegetables to start.

Just the best food. Prawn crackers were great, mixed starters fed every taste and the staff are so friendly. Best secret in Brentwood.
