Flunch St Jean De La Ruelle

This is just one of a number of Flunch restaurants in the area, but was the closest to our accommodation and is now the one to which we would go by choice! The food is always acceptable, and reasonably priced, but those members of staff with whom we interacted here, were a cut above others! One of the chefs, in particular, and one of the cashiers, both spoke English always a bonus and were so very helpful. If we had one complaint it was that some of the children attending a party were shooting around on scooters! Someone, we felt, ought to have informed the parents that they were in a restaurant, not a children 's playground!

This flunch restaurant is quite spacious, so you don't have to worry about finding a free table. The menú is typically flunch, you choose a warm dish and than have access to the free buffet of vegetables, rice, potatoes and pasta, and with this basic option your bill does not exceed 10€. At lunchtime the flunch restaurants are usually quite busy. I came here for dinner, and the story is different: the atmosphere can be a bit depressing, just a few diners in a huge restaurant, most of them singles.

My partner and I took my son here as Flunch is always open. Good entrées and desserts. The vegetables were regularly restocked. Children love fries and mash so this tends to need restocking more regularly. It’s good for a quick bite while out.

Quick and easy self service, always good value. Kids love the way they help themselves and have their own area, plus play area
