This Place is Very Beautiful and the food is very good but the after going there over a dozen times the service keeps getting worse and worse , i was there on Saturday June 25 2016 and i got there at 8 pm and guess what time my waitress came to our table , lol hahaha she never came to our table , i had to basically go get one , but that doesn't end there , we ordered our food before 9pm and guess what time we got our food 1035 pm lol hahaha , we basically go to a restaurant to eat and drink but thanks to Fogo you managed to ruin it for me and my wife and 2 other couples . Firstly, I was shocked to see that we had to pay 2$ for coat check and had to wait 5-10 mins to give/get our coats. One would think that if you have to pay for it (in a restaurant,) there should not be any waiting time! 2nd, never seen a restaurant thats charges for coat check! The service was great, our server made sure our wine glass was always filled. The food, in the other had, was not good. We had a shrimp duo with cocktail sauce. The cajun style batter on the shrimp was ok but the cocktail sauce was a huge disappointment. I mean, it was a canned or bottled sauce. Not impressed for the price tag. We got a coupon as a gift from my sister for christmas. It is a beautiful place with a great vibe but a few things were kind of a turn off. The fact that we are forced to check our coat for 2$ was something that we didn't expect. Then the seats are so close together so the staff kept on moving my purse. Besides that we loved it. The food was great (unlike what others have written in reviews.) I had the chicken which was its speciality and my husband had the pizza. We enjoyed it a lot. The staff was nice as well. We would probably return with friends one day.
This place is very nice. food not bad, but biggest negative is lack of professionalism by the waitresses. A group of 35 and waitresses are everywhere except serving us. They were partying with other guests sitting at the bar instead of tending to us. Our waitress disappeared before the coffee and dessert. even sang "Happy Birthday" to the wrong person. All in all. i probably wouldnt go back or recommend. This place has it all. and really could be a goldmine as someone else put it, theyre just not interested enough to make it happen. too bad. I went for a family birthday event. The setup was great and the service good. We had a choice of 5 dishes with an entree and coffee/tea to finish. It was quite expensive. I had the tataki tuna which was not the greatest dish. However, I had a taste of the Portuguese chicken and that was delicious. I would definitely recommend any Portuguese dish since it is their specialty. Later on in the evening, tables are moved to make place for the dance floor. The DJ was very good but the music was a bit loud to have a conversation over dinner.
Ordered at 7:30 never go my plate. The stupid waitress assumed I was sharing my friend's entrée, which she NEVER came back to check if it was indeed true. NOT EVEN A PIECE of BREAD on the table for 2 hours. NOTHING. The rest of the party came in later and again SHE ASSUMED that I wanted to wait for them to eat. WHY WOULD I WAIT IF I ORDER 1H BEFORE THEY GET THERE? HORRIBLE PLACE AND SERVICE. And menu's smelled awful. Ended up going to eat at McDonald's!
Just why do people go there. The 3 times i had to go for business lunch place is empty staff is not friendly menus actually smelled of vomit and we ere told it is because the rag they used to clean it was a tad old. Food is just decent mugs utensils are generally dirty and nothing is cheap. I do my best to avoid it. Sorry but not my thing
It was for a party we arrived at 10pm we get surprised that the terrasse was already empty people are inside DJ too, in the middle of summer why? We reserved the couches so we had to walk for the dance floor, food is perfect, staff good, music is good, but the problem the party end very early, recommended Réservez une table maintenant
I went to Fogo for a friends birthday, we where a group of about 10 people. The service was extremely show for us and many tables around us. The food was just ok. I wouldn't not go back. The kitchen also ran out of certain food items, limiting our food choices. Parking was also difficult.
