I was greeted with warm, friendly service, and the staff really go above and beyond. They bring your food to your table after you order, and they even take your plates away when you're done, making it clear that a tip is appreciated. I recommend not sitting at the front; venture further inside—you definitely won't regret it! The atmosphere inside is quite charming, making it easy to forget that you're in a small Italian restaurant right next to a Jewel Osco. I was quite disappointed with my experience. It was my first time eating there, and I had read some positive reviews that made me excited to try the food. I ordered through GrubHub, but when my meal arrived, it was not what I had requested. The taste and quality were just average. I ordered a ‘juicy’ Italian Beef sandwich, but it turned out to be completely dry and lacked flavor. Additionally, the tiramisu wasn't fresh; it seemed frozen and tasted nothing like real tiramisu. It was quite bitter. Unfortunately, since it was delivered, I couldn’t return it.

It seems that the quality of the food varies significantly based on who is working. There's an older, larger gentleman whom I believe is the manager, and when he is there, the food is consistently around 4.5 to 5 out of 5. Unfortunately, when he's not, the quality drops to what I can only describe as "subpar"—I ended up throwing out half of my meal. I plan to return, but I will be selective about when I go based on which staff members are working.

We had the good fortune to dine with friends at Fontina's last night. The food was delicious, the waiter appropriately attentive, and the wine tasty. I had the spaghetti with marinara sauce and meatballs--the sauce was spicy and flavorful and the meatballs were delicious. A special treat was the Insallata alla Strega--a delicious salad with a delightful light dressing. We definitely will be back! Réservez une table maintenant

I don’t want to write this because I've always enjoyed this place, but my recent experience was disappointing. On Friday night, I ordered three 10-inch Bastas and one 10-inch Capri sandwich, spending over $50. Unfortunately, all the sandwiches had very little meat in them. I'll give them one more chance to improve, but if the quality doesn’t change, I won’t be returning. Food rating: 1/5.

I placed a $50 order for two but came home to discover that they messed up the order, and it actually worked in their favor. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time this has happened. Given the prices they charge, mistakes like this shouldn't occur so frequently. They need to do better!

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant, where the food was excellent and the prices were quite reasonable. I stumbled upon this spot by chance; I had originally intended to visit Fontano’s in Hinsdale but ended up here instead.

One of the lightest and tastiest chicken parms I have ever had. Very affordable not a 20 dollar bill but worth 20 for sure.....will be back definitely......!. Réservez une table maintenant

The Manicotti was decent, but the grilled asparagus was absolutely amazing! Their sauces and sausage were truly outstanding.
