Fontinas Italian Kitchen

We had the good fortune to dine with friends at Fontina's last night. The food was delicious, the waiter appropriately attentive, and the wine tasty. I had the spaghetti with marinara sauce and meatballs--the sauce was spicy and flavorful and the meatballs were delicious. A special treat was the Insallata alla Strega--a delicious salad with a delightful light dressing. We definitely will be back!

I feel like the quality of the food sadly depends on who is working.There’s an older guy, bigger dude who I assume is the manager, when he’s there the food is 4.5-5/5, sadly when he’s not, the food is for lack of better words “sub par” (I threw half the food out)I’ll go back, but I will only order if certain staff are present.

Hate to do this because I have always loved this place, but this was ridiculous. I bought 3 -10 Bastas and 1- 10 Capri sandwiches on Friday night (over $50). All of the sandwiches had basically little to no meat on them. I will give them 1 more attempt at getting better, but if it repeats.. I'll never be back.Food: 1/5

One of the lightest and tastiest chicken parms I have ever had. Very affordable not a 20 dollar bill but worth 20 for sure.....will be back definitely......!.

Great food with reasonable price. I went to this restaurant by chance. I was planning to stop Fontano’s of Hinsdale but found this place instead ?
