Service was good given there were 3 people ahead of me waiting for their orders. I have been coming here for years and have always been happy with the food. I now live in Merriwa and drove down especially to get Chinese food from Foo hua. I was extremely disappointed. The chicken (honey chicken) and the pork (sweet and sour pork) dry, and over fried. Couldn't bite it or chew it. Usually the batter is light golden brown. Tonight it was dark brown. I don't know if they've changed chefs or something but the dog's ate well. Sadly, I won't be going back.
I ordered delivery from this restaurant last night and was very impressed. The service over the phone was excellent, the food arrived promptly, was reasonably priced, and the quality was outstanding. I want to thank the restaurant for the fantastic meal and great service. I will definitely be ordering from them again in the future! Overall, I would rate the service, food, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5. The price per person was between A$20–40 for dinner.
I’m wish I can give them negative star. I waited for 1 and half hour to get my food delivered only to get it cancelled last minute. When I called them after waiting for almost an hour for my food to be delivered, the lady over the phone promised me they will deliver the food in 20 mins and when I called them after 40 mins of still waiting for my food, they did not answer the phone at all. I’m left with empty stomach and lots of rage.
This Chinese restaurant is the dirtiest I have ever seen. After waiting for 10 minutes with no other customers in the restaurant, we still were not served. The presence of dead flies everywhere was also extremely off-putting. We ultimately decided to leave. It makes me question if health inspectors still exist in Australia. Overall rating: Service - 1, Atmosphere - 1.
