Burgers were best we’ve had in a while. We had the Phat Cow (I removed the Jalapeños before eating but liked just the extra kick they gave during cooking) and also had the Bull burger. Both great. Cooked well, not burnt. Ingredients seemed fresh and very flavourful without being greasy. Seriously well-done. Fries were perfect. Service was generous. Large TV and other smaller ones around for watching sports.
Group of 40 something Americans just looking to have a drink after dinner across from our hotel and were turned away due to security officer deciding we've had too much to drink. He couldn't even be bothered to speak to us regarding. Given we were completely sober, I find it quite interesting that we weren't welcome.
Footlights was an amazing bar to watch the Six Nations and Calcutta Cup. Staff put on a performance worthy of those on the pitch with their long shifts and patience. The food was excellent pub grub and the atmosphere amazing. The warm welcome to both sides made for an excellent day out.
I drank a Guinness in this place while I was arranging some photos to publish, surrounded by the chatter of the locals present, who were with me at the counter. Overall, enjoyable! Réservez une table maintenant
Daytime visit to watch the golf/football and we weren't disappointed. Several screens showing different sporting events and a good sized pub. Efficient bar service
Large sports theme bar , good pint of Guinness, plenty of tv’s to watch sports on, they do food but I’m just here for a beer, nice and warm inside too.
Amazing food and service! Mac n cheese and Steak and Ale pie both an A . Amazing bartenders that were nice and welcoming to tourists.
