Forellengasthof Waldeck

During our cycling trip we stayed here one night. The rooms were decent however they had exactly one vegetarian item which wasn't even on the Menu. As I was about to depart I asked the owner to fill up my water bottle. She filled it from the Kitchen Tap and charged me 3.5 Euros for it. This after we had run up a bill of 220 Euros the night before for eating and drinking, where the food was quite average and the service full of errors. If she would have filled my bottle with bottled water I would have gladly paid even 5 Euros. Such small-heartedness and miserliness means that this hotel gets a poor rating from me and is cancelled from my list of Hotels to revisit. Owner please take note... th...

Attached to the hotel in this very quiet, secluded little village ( Isenburg) . Reasonably priced traditional Swabian food with emphasis on fish - especially Trout . Any way that you can imagine to cook fish they are sure to have it here . Excellent traditional German salad with great flavor and options . Was not very busy when we ate dinner there but it is still early in the season . Staff was friendly , food was well prepared and presented . All in all a good experience .

Kleines, familiengeführtes Hotel am Rand des Schwarzwalds. Die Zimmer fand ich geräumig, gemütlich und sehr sauber. Ich habe gerne hier geschlafen : . Sowohl die Inhaberin als auch die Servicekräfte waren immer nett und zuvorkommend. Ich hatte ein Steak vom heißen Stein und eine fangfrische gebratene Forelle, beides war wirklich lecker. Die Preise für das Essen und das Zimmer, fand ich vollkommen in Ordnung. Hier werde ich auf jeden Fall wiedermal herkommen.

Small family hotel on the edge of the Black Forest. The rooms I found spacious, cozy and very clean. I like to sleep here: . Both the owner and the service personnel were always nice and accommodating. I had a steak from the hot stone and a freshly roasted trout, both were really delicious. Frühstück nicht sehr ergiebig, Auswahl gering. Abendessen ganz okay. Lage sehr ruhig. Zimmer sehr groß jedoch zum nur drin schlafen übertrieben. Alte Einrichtung der Zimmer. Preis für Unterkunft meiner Ansicht nach nicht gerechtfertigt Rooms: 3 Service: 3 Location: 3

Wie haben hier 1 eine wunderschöne Woche mit unseren 2 Hunden verbracht. Absolute Ruhe, gutes Essen, nette Gastgeber. Zu einem absolut fairen Preis. Gemütlich, rustikale Atmosphäre, tolles Essen. Top, wir werden wieder kommen. Service: 5

Ruhig gelegener Gasthof in herrlicher Umgebung. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch alles sehr gepflegt u. sauber. Frühstück sehr gut. In wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto ist Horb a. Neckar zu erreichen. Service: 4

We were pampered by the Forest Inn Waldeck at Christmas. It was the right choice. All dishes were delicious.
