We've been two other times. It's a good place if you're enjoying the company of others and can be distracted from things that aren't quite up to par. Food is okay but really not fabulous. Fried calamari looked beautiful but wasn't really great and way too many hot peppers. Gnocchi was very good. Our room was too warm and loud. The server was very nice. She did forget our water and I had to ask a second time while needing a drink with the hots on the calamari, but then she got it right out. Salad and soup came too early. I wanted salad first then my entree and they came at the same time. Really don't see what's so exciting but it seems to be the local hot spot. Glad they're doing so well.
We had reservations for 6:30p but the restaurant already ran out of one menu item the scallops. Very disappointing in that 3 people in our party were going to get the scallops. Instead, my husband and I got the sea bass dish for two people. The fish was small, the vegetables were ordinary. It was billed on the menu as a dish for two people, but the portion was small and the dish was expensive. I would NOT recommend it. Not sure if we will return any time soon to Forge and Vine.
Way more hype for me. The two other diners had a better meal. I got scallops and it was $38 which I am more than willing to pay, but they served me 3. On a small scoop of lentils with some microgreens, just a few microgreens. Totally not worth $38. But the Lemon drops were delicious!
Our dinners were quite good. The menu would improve with a few “classic” choices, such as tenderloin, grilled salmon with lemon, or swordfish. The service was excellent. The atmosphere lends itself to a relaxing fun evening of dining with friends. Susan

eating and drinks were excellent. our table was in the middle of the dining area. I prefer to sit on the side near the windows. Noise level was a little too much. our server was very good.
The Forge and Vine team consistently delivers an excellent experience. If you're searching for delicious food in a friendly atmosphere, you need look no further.
The wood fired Berkshire Pork was expertly prepared, beautifully plated and perfectly paired with it’s accompaniments. A truly delectable dinner!
Food was great and service at the bar was A+. We’ll be back but only occasionally due to the expensive menu.
