The second visit made us quite enthusiastic. For a special occasion, everything matched the evening. Before the previously requested table, the warm welcome by the owner and the good selection of aperitifs and longdrinks. Then the tasty 4-course menu with excellent truffle tagliatelle and delicate lamb fillets, the wonderful wine (also the sweet wine to dessert and above all the attentive and very facing service. We find the service more professional than in comparable restaurants of similar price category. Grazie mille, a magical evening. We'll be back. The terrace must be wonderful in summer. Forissimo is located near the Bonn Marriott and the United Nations Bonn facilities. It's at the backside of an old Villa. In the summer time I can imagine the garden is also open as there's a nice terrace connected to the restaurant. I must say,...I did have a great dinner here, all to perfection. The Vitello Tonato was made to perfection, as was the small spaghettti with garlice, olive oil and red pepper as an in between dish. Super welcome by the employees in a very beautiful environment. The Forissimo Restaurant is located near the Bonn Marriott Hotel and the Office of the United Nations. Very friendly and professional staff. They speak several languages such as, German, Italian of course, and English. Some...employees also speak French and even Dutch. The restaurant is well furnished and spacious. We had an incredibly delicious dinner accompanied by a suitable wine on September I must say, we did have a great dinner here, all tastes were coordinated and the flavors were great. It is definitely worth it to drive Km for this restaurant. But after wine and other drinks, we will stay the night at the Marriot Hote...
I recently had the pleasure to eat in the restaurant together with my wife and I must say that we were thrilled! The service was excellent, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, each dish was carefully prepared and was served visually appealing. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant, it was quiet and relaxing. The furnishings were modern and stylish with views to the garden. The price-performance ratio was also good, especially considering that the food and service were of the highest quality. Overall we had a wonderful time in the restaurant and can only recommend it.
We came by chance and that at 2:00, where they actually close their kitchen. After a short demand in the kitchen, we were kindly led to the garden ambience and have eaten very tasty. The Saltimbocca and the Kalbsbolognese were simply on the spot and very tasteful. Also before the greeting from the house with a super delicious pesto of tomatoes, olives, garlic, capers, etc. And great bread was excellent. As dessert there was a tiramisu where you can tell you with fresh egg foam, just as it should be thank you for the great service and the great food and that we even got such a delicious food served. We were there with a small group just before Christmas. The ambience is very beautiful with the genre background music. The staff was absolutely accommodating. The food came relatively fast, was appealing and tasted well. The menu may be somewhat clear, but for me it is absolutely fine. In summer you can also sit outside very nicely. The restaurant is not so easy to see from the street. You walk right past the house in the beautifully landscaped garden and voilá... For me a clear recommendation.
The food was excellent (which met fully on appetizer, main dish and dessert too), the service was professional and very friendly. Due to the weather, the beautiful terrace was closed so that we had a table in the very attractive interior. Unfortunately, we had the table at the entrance, right next to the large screen, on which a very disturbing picture show was shown throughout the evening. We'll be happy to come back, but not at this table.
