The Confiserie Fornerod is one of several places with outdoor seating in attractive pedestrian area Grande Rue. We were also in other places on this street, but before departure from Morges we decided to have a coffee and a snack here. Perhaps we were influenced by the brochure 'In the traces of Audrey Hepburn ', a resident for 30 years, that is almost half of her life, by near Tolochenaz. When she came to Morges, she apparently loved the Confiserie Fornerod, as she had a very sweet tooth despite her ever slim figure. Audrey Hepburn used to frequent this cafe and her photographs decorate the walls inside. While this place is primarily known for tasty pastries with great variety, they also serve some really delicious lunches! The ingredients are so fresh and flavourful. A simple pasta dish with tomatoes and mozerella was an explosion of flavours in my mouth as was the fresh asparagus soup. Naturally the bread was delicious and I really enjoyed the cherry pie as well as the croissants yes.. It's obvious I patronized this place more than once!
Maybe you have the fight to find a place, but it will be worth it. Great cakes, wineries, sandwiches and chocolate. The staff is always smiling and helpful. Therefore it is always full, but always a pleasure to spend some downtime from shopping here. A visit to Morges would not be complete here without coffee or tea.
The place was absolutely packed on an Advent Saturday and it turns out that it is for good reason. They have an amazing offer of cakes and pastries, including a fantastic wine pump, the traditional local cakes with apple and pear. The visit is worthwhile for a bite alone.

Very nice coffee shop patisserie with beautiful cakes and pastries. Sandwiches and not to forget the chocolates!! They serve good lunches, hot food and a good choice of salads. To eat inside or outside on the little terrace. Lovely place.
It's a tea shop. Wasn't serving hot food at 1400 on a Saturday. Cost CHF 25 for a sandwich, pastry and hot chocolate. Nothing wrong with it but don't make an effort to go

Large pastries, bread and breakfast! Open Sundays that are unusual in Morges. Beautiful exterior and interior seats and it is bigger than it looks!

Tea-room toujours bien rempli et on comprend aisément pourquoi. Vraie boulangerie-confiserie artisanale, tout est bon.
This place has pleasant service, great food and desserts and the best coffee in Morges. And it's open on Sundays!
