Forsthaus Butzbach

I went there with friends to enjoy a 60's revival concert. The calm before the concert I used for sampling hand cheese with music ' as a snack with a glass of local apple wine, followed by the cake of the day with a cup of tea. Service was friendly and professional and food and drink lived up to my expectations, although a little higher price than I expected. The actual action started with the concert! And the part-time workers were obviously asked to provide food and drink in time. Should they use a self-service counter instead? I think that would have been better suited for the concert version.

Hatte ein Weizen und eine Gulaschsuppe bestellt. Weizen kam, Gulaschsuppe nicht. Nach einer halben Stunde wollte ich bezahlen, Weizen und Gulaschsuppe wurden in Rechnung gestellt. Auf meine Intervention hin hieß es (unfreundlich): "Sie hätten sich ja auch melden können." Ja bei wem denn, wenn die Biker im Mittelpunkt stehen,die "normalen" Gäste aber übersehen werden?

Nach Wanderungen rund um den Hausbergturm kehren wir immer gerne in das Forsthaus in Butzbach ein. Im Gastronomiebereich herrscht m.E. eine "Wirtshausathmosphäre". Die Gerichte würde ich als traditionelle deutsche Küche einstufen. Bislang hat alles lecker geschmeckt. Auch der Service war in Ordnung, auch dann, wenn das Lokal mal richtig voll war.

Ein eher rustikaler Schankraum, überschaubare Karte, aber was sie da machen, das hat Hand und Fuss. Ordentliche Portionen und wirklich schmackhaft.

Nette freundliche Bedienung, Herrlich im Freien zu sitzen.Sehr zu empfehlen. (Wir haben nicht übernachtet).
