We went to the Hessenstein at the Schietweetter in northern Germany today and had to find that there are unfortunately holidays on the farm. The restaurant owner invited us to stay on the terrace for a coffee. As an absolute coffee lover, I must say that I haven't drank such a good cappuccino for a long time. The host was as warm and accommodating as it is rarely experienced nowadays. We definitely come back!

Das Forsthaus Hessenstein ist immer einen Besuch wert! Super nettes Personal, aufmerksam, freundlich, immer zu Scherzen bereit wir hatten Gänsebraten bestellt, sehr sehr lecker sehr zu empfehlen. Aber auch die anderen Gerichte auf der Karte sind super lecker. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I just visited the view tower. Cost 1 Euro, must be paid in the tower by the machine. The view is great. The parking lot is small, for the urge that prevailed on Sunday afternoon. The restaurant is housed in a beautiful old house. Réservez une table maintenant

We were here with friends at the end of May 2020. The first time and not the last time. The food, the service was first class. All right. We like to come back.
