Forsyth Country Cooking

First stopped here a couple of years ago when I was selected for jury duty in Forsyth. When they let us go around lunch time I walked around and came across Forsyth Country Cooking. I had the fried chicken and mac n' cheese. Everything was good, even the sweet tea (one of my determining factors of whether I'll go back to a place). I picked up a slice of cake before leaving. After the first bite she said you have to take me there. I've taken my family there and me and a couple friends went for the All You Can Eat Catfish. If you're in Forsyth during the week do yourself a favor and stop by!

If you have not tried their shrimp you should!!! Nice jumbo size, thick seasoned breading, with a side of homemade tarter sauce. Mmm mmm finger licking good! Oh and one of the employees doesn't know me by name but she knows me by face, which is a plus b/c I don't come very often, but whenever she sees me she knows exactly what my order is and she always says it's good to see me.

The most delicious food I tasted in a while. Great food, hospitable staff. Very enjoyed our experience here. Do not be fooled by the outer appearance of Forsyth Country Cookin. The restaurant is small, but the aromas of food are worth the trip. This can be the best secret in Forsyth. Would recommend everyone in the area.

Had one of the best old country dinners in this restaurant tonight. The best fried catfish I had in a very long time. Only a classic hole in the wall with large folks and foods. The Andy Griffith show on TV has just completed the experience. Réservez une table maintenant

Good home kitchen served by a friendly staff in a comfortable dining area. A great value and good food. I recommend the roasted catfish with macaroni and cheese, roasted okra and finish with peach kicker with ice!

I really enjoyed the catfish and shrimp dinner. The food was prepared fresh and was very tasty. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely be stopping in again as I travel through the Forsyth area.

Very good service and food. Loved my whiting and shrimp platter. Excellent home made tartar sauce. Both the fish and shrimp cooked to a golden brown.
