The food was good and the service was good. Unfortunately, the steak was supposed to be medium rare on both our dishes but they both came out well done (hence the loss of one star. The gorgonzola was a great touch and made the dish. The calamari wasunique and good but not great. Even with the sauce and lemon, It was still a little bland. The sunset was great!Unfortunately, you don't really hear the waves because of the traffic and busy street full of people. All in all, well worth thevisit.

Fosters Kitchen was a place I had walked by a few times and upon venturing upstairs I was pleased by the cuisine and the view. I had a nice meal with my friends and can definently say that this place is better than Lava Java and deserves more attention! I'll for sure take my friends back here for another meal when it's time for our reunion!
I cannot overstate the weirdness of this restaurant experience. It is crazy spendy for what you get. Staff is friendly, but they do not have their acts together. We definitely felt like victims of fate as guests here. Take a gander at our ticket andthen the corresponding food to decide if it was worth it. Réservez une table maintenant
the food was delicious and we cleaned it up. I had the fish. my man had fish. his first impression was a small fish share, but he was satisfied! the children had burgers. we needed a hearty meal and that meets the point. we even had space for cheesecake and it was delicious!
First restaurant experience on the Big Island and it did not disappoint! We shared the macadamia nut pesto pastry starter and had the stuffed chicken/Cajun fish tacos and the bananas Foster to share. We loved it all and our server was kind and knowledgeable.
Fosters is our favorite restaurant! We eat here anytime we visit my in-laws in Kona. Their food is excellent (try the seafood puff pastry appetizer), service is great, and the view is amazing. We have yet to try anything we haven?t liked here.
This was a great place to eat. I had country fried pork chops,.and they were tender, they just melted in your mouth. One of the pluses, Is the beautiful ocean view. Great place to watch the sunset while having dinner. Réservez une table maintenant
