This was my second visit during a 6 day stay in the Chicago area. Normally, I like to sample as many restaurants as possible, but my friends asked me if I could recommend the best local place for breakfast, and I took the opportunity to invite them to Fountain Inn Café and to join them myself.This time I had the guacamole toast, which was delicious. Eggs were cooked perfectly, the avocado was fresh and flavorful, and as in my first experience, the staff were amazing! I was greeted as we entered by the server, who said oh Hi! Great to see you again! which impressed my friends. I won 't be back to the area for a while, but when I do return it 's definitely one of my stops
The Fountain Inn Cafe is a hidden gem that deserves to be noticed. The atmosphere is very upscale. The owner is friendly and makes you feel important. The food was incredible. The lemon berry pancakes (which can be gluten free) are out of this world I had a chicken panni sandwich and it was very good. All fresh ingredients.The entire staff is very friendly and provides great service. We will be coming back often as we have been searching for a place just like this for a long time.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available
Great family-run Cafe. Emily greets you with a cheerful 'Hi! Welcome ' and you 're seated quickly. Servers are quick to offer drinks and Sergio makes a mean Skrt Steak and eggs.So much food, you 'll have enough for lunch.High quality ingredients. Sergio 's been doing this over 30 years.Try the soups. Fantastic!Avoid the crowds and visit during the week.
This is a fantastic little breakfast spot! They cook the soft scrambled eggs perfectly, and everything we had was enjoyable. Tammy was friendly and attentive. I would definitely choose this place again over First Watch.

This is an incredible breakfast place that truly knows how to do it right. Without a doubt, these are the best Chilaquiles I've ever had in Chicago.
