Lizzie’s first impression: Great seating area, the most lovely staff and a great simple brunch menu. <br/ <br/ Lizzie enjoyed: I sometimes drive past and see this massive four beans café sign and I finally had the chance to try. The food was surprisingly delicious. I had a lamb salad which was cooked well and had a perfect combo of meat and salad ratio. The juices here are so fresh and delicious got myself a berry flavoured one and it was spot on. The scrambled eggs on toast with bacon was the most delicious dish I tried. We were invited to Four Beans today which is a massive warehouse style space roasters and cute cafe with a really homely ambiance about it. The staff were warm and welcoming and obviously very passionate about coffee. They roast on site and you can also see lots of the traditional equipment used historically which is fun for the Melbournian coffee buff. <br/ <br/ Today we tried the smashed avocado, chilli scrambled with a side of avo and the nourish bowl. All enjoyable dishes and mine had a perfectly poached egg. We also checked out the dessert cabinet which boasted a wide array of sweet treats the majority of which were handmade and vegan.
