A small, simple bakery with a rustic vibe, delicious pastries and plenty of tasty takeaway options. We missed the quiches and pizzas for the day, so come early. The line is an indication in itself that the baked goods are delicious, even for later in the evening, the croissants, pain au chocolat, and veggie sandwich were tasty. These fall somewhere between the spectrum of Starter and Tartine. Really well done and what a great vibe to sit outside and listen to buskers.

No parking, prepare to park further away and walk. We came during closer to lunch hours so it was not too crowded luckily. The staffs do tag team and work extremely fast. Walk in, no sit down. Ham Egg Roll: 5/5, easily. Would always come back just to try this again.Morning Bun: 5/5, soft and flakey Cheese roll: 2/5, not the typical American type of cheese roll. It was melted cheese on top of a very dry sourdough-like bread.

Local hidden Diamond bakery located at inner Berkeley, next to the Fairmont hotel. We ordered croissant, scones and some more. Very tasty and special, especially the walnut scone, unlike the others , it’s not too sweet but the favor of the nuts is highly enhanced, the unique taste made it outstanding among other bakeries!

Came Easter morning and waited 30 mins., but fast service. Next time I will order online for easy pickup. Ham and egg croissant a must! Pate and cheese croissant too! All delicious!

Croissants are outstanding. I also liked their baguettes. Almond croissants are also very good.
