Having been turned away from the Brewers Fayre we were pleased to see it was fairly quiet and there were empty tables. There was only one young lad serving though and we had to wait to get drinks. The menu looked reasonably priced so we placed an order of food. 15 mins later another man wrote on a board that service would be 45 mins. After an hour of waiting he came round saying if we were waiting for food we could go to the bar get a free round in. We finally got our food but it was very disappointing. The burger, chips and some meat on the mixed grill was over cooked; the ‘sizzling onions’ was half a plate of boiled onions; my creamy Diane sauce was runny tasteless. We noted several tables...

What a fantastic place! The food was delicious and received high praise. Everything was served hot and fresh! The customer service exceeded all expectations; they truly went above and beyond. I even received a complimentary dessert since it was the end of the day and they didn’t want to waste it! I will definitely be coming back! The wonderful owner, Joe, is always so kind to the kids, and I truly appreciate the little treats he gives them. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

The service was good and efficient. Our host, Colin, was excellent. However, the dining area needed to be tidied up after a larger group left, and our table could have used some cleaning. Price per person: £20–30. Food: 3/5. Service: 4/5. Atmosphere: 3/5.
