this is the first time in our adult lives have we ever been told that we were trouble makers and to leave the pub, the chef who refused to accept that my wifes food was not edible he tried to belittle her which was not very professional of him, he wouldn't listen to what we had to say we offered to pay for what we ate and consumed which he replied i dont want your money now get out of my pub then the son of the tennant grabbed hold of my arm and told us to get out and dont come back. Had the most gorgeous Sunday lunch here. There was a great variety of dishes and something for everyone. I had Brie, another had the cauliflower soup, and another had the pigeon all to die for. Our beef and turkey ballotine roasts came with everything you would want and more, even cauliflower cheese, and were just delicious. We couldn’t fault anything. It really felt like we were fine dining without the price. All of the staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough to help. I’d highly recommend this gem of a pub to anyone and everyone. We left the place after booking in to enjoy their festive menu in a few weeks time. We can’t wait to be back!
I recently dined at the Fox Hounds with some friends and had a fantastic experience. Ever since the new chef arrived, the inn has transformed into a wonderful establishment. The atmosphere is intimate yet spacious, and the menu offers a variety of delicious freshly cooked dishes, accompanied by a great selection of wine and beer. The service was top-notch and the staff created a friendly and welcoming environment. I highly recommend visiting the Fox Hounds for a delightful dining experience.
What an amazing place ! I went for food with a few of my friends today and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming by all staff . The food was phenomenal and my mouth was bursting with flavours with every bite . I have the fillet mignon and chocolate and cherries for dessert.. best place I’ve eaten out too in a very long time and will be back very soon. I’d definitely recommend the fox and hound to everyone .

Delicious meal this evening at the fox and hounds, fillet steak with tripple cooked chips and blue cheese sauce, my partner had the fish and chips both were outstanding and full of flavour, the best mac and cheese we've ever had we will definitely be visiting again, the service was spot on and nothing was to much trouble, a credit to your industry guys
Part of a group on Saturday night for a family birthday party. Food excellent though getting cutlery for various courses was a bit hit and miss. Daughter was given a soup spoon for her pavlova. The toilets were most disappointing, being very scruffy and there being nowhere to change a small baby except on the not particularly clean floor.
We have had two fantastic meals at The Fox and Hounds since the new chef arrived, and every dish has been spot on! They also have a flavourful vegetarian choice! There is always a warm, welcoming atmosphere inside, especially in the winter months with the log burner roaring. Friendly staff and plenty of smiles. We will be back soon.

Always on the lookout for nice cafes and this one didn’t disappoint. Nice coffee, food and service. Good start to the day for our road trip to Adelaide.
