So glad I got this recommendation! Just the kind of comfortable place I like, but hard to find when passing thru town. Get off 64 and come eat with the locals. As a Texan, I’m not usually down w paying for chips, but I’m glad I did. The salsa is so good, rich and complex in flavor, and made me sweat a little. I had Xmas style carnitas enchiladas, but prefer the Red. Bonus, Refried beans instead of just pintos. Sopapillas were soft and fluffy and flaky with REAL honey! Seems like some really cool and nice people working here. Family atmosphere. I saw some regulars getting hugs from them. I’d be here every week if I lived close by.

After spending the day exploring Chaco Canyon, we were on our way to Shiprock and decided to stop for the night in Farmington. We searched for Mexican food and found this small but easy-to-find restaurant. Despite the slow business at that time of day, we were seated and served quickly. The food was surprisingly delicious, especially when I chose both the red and green sauces, known as Christmas. I have a favorite Mexican restaurant in Albuquerque, and now I have one in Farmington. Enjoy! Parking is available in the entire shopping center and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
I used to love this place but it has gone down hill. The establishment refuses to update their online presence and menu prices. Every time we go in there, prices increase and there is no mention of totals on the phone prior to pickup. Today we ordered a regular queso that is almost $12 after taxes and received a cup that's not even full. When I called to clarify the prices I was greeted with snide remarks about me being able to maybe help them with their website. It's been poor customer service and we will not be back.
We had a great experience here today. Ordered chicken quesadillas, a navaho taco snd fried ice cream. The fry bread (same as sopailla, just treated differently) were among my best ever: light, not oily and made fresh. The table salsa is not too hot and has a smoky delicious quality. Fillings for the navaho taco were simple and abundant- warn green chile sauce was very tasty. This must also be one of the friendliest spots in Farmington. Prepare to be welcomed like a neighbor. High recommendation from me. Réservez une table maintenant
This restaurant claims to specialize in northern New Mexico cuisine, but the chili tasted more like TexMex than authentic northern New Mexico chili. As a result, the overall food was just okay. However, they offer a nice selection of dishes to choose from. The service was excellent, with a rating of 5 out of 5. The atmosphere was decent, with a rating of 3 out of 5. There is plenty of parking available. The price per person for dinner ranges from $10 to $20.
I have visited this restaurant for the second time and it was just as good as the first. The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are generous, perfect for dining in or taking home. The dishes are classic comfort food, and the staff is friendly. The restaurant promotes clean eating and the bathrooms are well-maintained. You will not be disappointed with a visit here.
After not stopping in for years, I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to this restaurant. They offer an affordable daily special that changes every day. Their salsa is delicious and I was thrilled to see chicharrones on the menu. I highly recommend sharing a bowl with your group.

We were tourists in search of a good local dining spot and we found a gem! The staff was friendly and the food was fantastic. We give it a perfect score of 5 for both food and service, and the atmosphere was also a 5. Highly recommend!
