we went to eat on December 30, 2021, which is just our jubilee, in tavira for dinner with our granddaughter. unfortunately we found out that all our restaurant farms (except our fav pizza place where we ate the night before) were closed between Christmas and New Year. we walked around without aim until we stumbled on this great restaurant. for appetizers we had the grilled garnels and cod chains, in addition to brot and oliven. great! as a escape we had the piri piri piri huhn, black pork steaks and grilled meeresbass with homemade French fries, all wonderfully cooked and seasoned perfectly. for dessert, the house special by mandel with caramel, roasted cocosnüssen and kiss a perfect end to...

returned to try something different from the wonderful 1st tine we visited days earlier. Unfortunately the restaurant was full. waiting over an our at a local bar for a table. we finally got a table very late with an apology. Tried the pork steak but it was not the best. bit tough. Wife tried to chicken again and tight it excellent. The owner took my opinion that my meal was not enjoyed and took it off the bill with an apology . Great service shows how much they care. It was an exceptionally busy evening so please visit the best chicken n chips restaurant in Tavira.
my wife and I went this week to lunch. had piri-piri huh plus a small tomatensalat. we choose to sit on the simple, small outside area due to corona. it took a while until we got our food, suggesting that it was freshly prepared. the chicken was very tender and juicy with a beautiful crispy skin delicious. also the salate was very fresh and beautiful and the pommes were also beautiful. the part was enough, and euro per portion is eaten in this part portugal to lunch. we're coming back. Llegamos a la hora punta de comer ,nos atendió adeila súper bien es la primera vez que fuimos por comentarios en TripAdvisor y la comida espectacular no tardaron nada en atendernos y comer ..todo espectacular el secreto buenísimo las croquetas de bacalao buenísimas y el pan con queso de cabra y mermelada espectacular ...volveremos a repetir más veces
I am used to reserved, non-yellow Portuguese restaurant service, but this lady was very economical with her mirth. the hunch was good, but without the usual carving juices on the plate, and served quickly, so can hang around for a da. we have underwhelmed. they get much better hugging at food trucks on markets / ferry.
