Frank Son Pizzeria

Very good pizza, quiet/semi awkward atmosphere. I used to live near this place, the pizza was very good and they served one of the better cakes in the area. My only difference was that I went to the restaurant at night, felt like going to someone's house (which is the case as the family seems to live in the rest of the building). Inside was always empty, and Grandma would be at a nearby table as you pick up your pizza. Something about the place felt like I came back in time and landed in an old small town of Pizzeria from the 90s. Maybe it's just me, but it felt strangely unpleasant and quiet. That's not a big deal, because I didn't eat. That was 3 years ago, so it can have changed (but doubtful). Overall, her pizza is the 1 minute strange.

I have been coming here since I was 14, which was over 30 years. I have since moved out of town and live in Atlanta. Everytime I 'm in town, I look forward to eating here. One of the best Pizza that I have ever had and that includes Italy, I travel a lot. That being said, I stopped by on my way out of town in August to only find they were closed. I was forced to pick some slices up the road that supposedly had the best pizza, yeah right, they ain 't no Frank Son and never will be. I hope they 're still open when I travel back to Jersey. Best pizza ever.

“Good restaurant in the neighborhood...” It is near our apartment and decided to try it... A quiet place. The owner is Italian and leads this place with family. We ordered chicken pasta with penne vodka sauce and it was really good.. Some other day we tried their pizza and it was also quite good. Not famous, but definitely recommended especially pasta.
