Frankfurter Küche - Réservation de table

We´ve been there after a meeting at the Central European Bank across the street. It was recommended for local food. As we are experienced in this region and especially in Frankfurt local food quite well we looked forward to taste and explore this new opportunity, as it´s name implies “Frankfurt cuisine”. Due to the nice weather we decided to sit outdoor. Well, it was poor, definitely not good and not local food. Relativamente vicino allo zoo questo ristorante dispone di tavoli all'aperto ben riparati e di una sala interna con tavoli spaziosi. Il menù comprende piatti tipici, di carne, di pesce, vegetariani ed hamburger. Alla lavagna anche i piatti del giorno, purtroppo scritti solo in tedesco. Servizio gentile e rapido, si parla inglese. Abbiamo scelto apfelwine ovvero sidro di mele, handkaskartoffeln ovvero un pasticcio di patate e formaggio con cetriolini sottaceto servito caldissimo ed accompagnato da insalata con cream cheese (possibile aggiungere anche bacon), fra le opzioni vegetariane semmelknodel ovvero gnocchi di pane (tipo canederli) con funghi e relativa crema accompagnati da insalata con...

Mittlerweile zweimal dort gewesen, beim ersten Mal hatte ich als Vorspeise Handkäs mit Musik ( schön angemacht und sehr schmackhaft wenn auch ein wenig hart) und ein Schnitzel Wiener Art ( zwei große, leckere Schnitzel mit sehr guten Bratkartoffeln!). Unsere Bedienung war auf Zack und ich habe mich gut bedient gefühlt bei noch angemessenen Preisen. Der zweite Besuch war leider etwas enttäuschend: Das bestellte Cordon Bleu war OK, mehr nicht. Die Steakhouse Fries waren zum Teil nicht ganz fertig. Auch der Service war deutlich schwächer - es schien aber so, als hätte an dem Abend Personal gefehlt. Es bleibt ein zwiegespaltener Eindruck...

Really in need for a good coffee so stopped here. Nice smart appearance and plenty of tables outside. Service was quick and soon we were sipping on our hot drinks. The cappuccino was delightful but the hot chocolate had no chocolate taste at all so was just hot frothy milk unfortunately but the mini macaroons were lovely. Schönes Restaurant im Küchen-stil eingerichtet. Ansprechende Speisekarte mit wechselnden Gerichten (Mittags/Abendkarte). Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Salatteller - unfassbar lecker!Aber auch zum brunchen kann man hier hingehen - ein wirklich gelungenes Restaurant. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Seit einigen Jahren zählt die Frankfurter Küche zu unseren Stammrestaurants. Wir sind immer wieder gerne hier und haben auch schon in geschlossener Gesellschaft gefeiert. Besonders gut gefällt uns die wechselnde Speisekarte, die auch immer vegetarische Varianten anbietet.

I was recommended this restaurant as an insider tip. While the food was okay (lots of traditional Frankfurt dishes), the service was under-staffed yet very friendly. I would recommend making reservations beforehand as it gets crowded at 8-9 PM even on weekdays.

Grüne Soße war geschmacklich fade. Tafelspitz schmeckte wie Schuhsohle. Die Bratkartoffeln waren zwar etwas blass aber genießbar. Insgesamt nicht zu empfehlen Réservez une table maintenant

Very good and large portions. Fair prices. We ate mit gebratrnen zwiebeln Schnitzel “wiener art” Fish korma Grilled schwinshaxn All good!

Un restaurante con comida casera. Muy buena atención, camareros simpáticos. Rico todo y buenos precios. Lo recomiendo!!
