The new owners have returned to Franks Cakes, so we decided to give them a try. We ordered a Big breakfast and a vegetarian breakfast for brunch, along with some coffees. We also took home a sausage roll, biscuits, and assorted cakes. The breakfasts were delicious, with generous portion sizes and high-quality, flavorsome ingredients like mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, and spinach. The homemade rosti was a nice touch, as opposed to the standard packet hash brown. The meat breakfast was also very good. The coffee was average, but the cakes were tasty. This restaurant is a great spot for enjoying brunch, delicious cakes, and coffee. The breakfast dishes are freshly made and reasonably priced. There is plenty of parking available. The cakes were so tempting that I ended up taking some to go. The pistachio roulade was particularly enjoyable.
