We waited 45 minutes for our meal and it was unclear why there was such a delay as it was not busy for a Saturday morning. Very few dishes were coming out of the kitchen during our wait. Another couple who arrived after us received their meal before us. When we requested a discount on our bill, the manager refused. This experience has made us reconsider returning to Fred Young's restaurant and we will not be recommending it to our friends.

Located just down the road from my brothers house, so picked it for breakfast on Saturday morning. The coffee was Good and the service timely, I had the Spanish omelette and it was a large and tasty portion. My partner had the poached eggs on flat bread with cucumber salad, she really enjoyed the meal and we both left feeling well fed and ready for a day of shopping in the city!
