DO Not go to this restaurant. We visited here with our 2 years old son recently and he went inside the restaurant and was running around a bit. One of the server shouted at him that don 't run inside th restaurant, and then my wife held our son but the server again shouted we don 't run inside the restaurant as if first time in wasn 't enough. We ended our meal right there and then and left. What does the restaurant expect from a 2 years old. Or put signs that kids are not allowed if you are so anti-kids. We went to visit Point Pelee National park and saw this restaurant with the outdoor terrace and it looked really good.. we went inside. We were seated by the waiter who was very kind. Really enjoyed the view next to the lake and all the plants that were surrounding the restaurant and the tables. We ordered the perch and well it was good. I'm not going to say the food wasn't good but the portions were just horrific. I mean really salad or fries. That's ridiculous. It should be salad and fries on the plate for $33. I was a first time guest. The proprietor served me. I have a health situation that requires me to ask questions about how the food is cooked and presented. He was very patient and interested in making sure the food would be good for me. We had a friendly discussion about that. He delivered lunch and it was perfect. I'm not at Pt Pelee very often but I will be back to this restaurant when I am.Dietary restrictions: Will consult with you about food ingredients and preparation
What can I say about this place?.. the owners are awesome. They always greet you with a smile. They're very friendly.. waiters again really friendly and they do a good job. No complaints.. The food is Good. I've had many things on the menu calamari I've had the burgers I've had. The perch I've had the perch tacos and everything is good I just think the portions can be better for the price, but all in all what was a good experience otherwise I wouldn't be going back Réservez une table maintenant
Brought my friend from Mexico here.He really liked it and would come back. Perch Tacos were great! They have a brewery right next door and serve it in the restaurant. Flying Squirrel was our choice.....very good ? owner came to talk to us....always nice. Staff told us it was a great place to work and that the ownership is very good to them. Will be making a return visit
Get the fish and coleslaw! Their own beer is great! There's clearly someone with a good sense of taste here. It's only a shame the prices are SO high and the poutines use shredded cheese, which wouldn't be so bad if it didn't cost so much. The place is clean and has a great view of the water!Parking: Plenty of parking nearby because of the park and waterfront
What a fantastic meal. The food was amazing... not your typical pub food like we expected. The service was friendly and quick. Enjoyed every minute of it. The portions were big enough that we made a second meal out of it. (The reviews that complain about the prices are puzzling. It was extremely reasonable for such fresh, home cooked food.
Keep driving…. Be prepared to pay $100 for lunch before drinks. Paid extra to have fish pan cooked instead of fried?? The “up charge” for salad is almost $9.00 which is unheard of anywhere especially from the waitress herself who was likely too embarrassed to tell us. Food was tasty but very small portions.
