This restaurant offers the best in country cooking. Their recipes have been refined over several generations, and you can truly taste the love in every dish. They offer a fixed-price option that includes dessert, providing excellent value. If you're still hungry, you can go back for more food for just a few extra dollars, with unlimited trips. I particularly enjoy the hot peach cobbler served with ice cream, with flavors like butter pecan, chocolate, and vanilla to choose from. Fred's Market has three locations, and if you're driving a semi or large truck, there's convenient parking available at the back of the Plant City location. It's just a quick detour off I-4.
I've eaten here 3 times so far and plan to go again today. It really is the best food. The selection of great foods surprises me each time. I wish they had a restaurant in Tennessee where I live. Yesterday I had mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, yellow rice, black beans, roasted pork, plantains, fried green tomatoes, corn casserole, a hot buttery roll, and finally some warm caramel bread pudding with ice cream. I wanted to try everything but nobody could do that because there are way too many choices. Try this for yourself and you won't be disappointed.
Beverly was our server, and she is truly outstanding! She took the time to explain everything to us since it was our first visit. She kept the empty plates off our table and had the most wonderful attitude I've experienced from a server in a long time. Thank you for a delicious meal; everything was so neat and tidy. I even saw someone checking the food temperatures at the buffet! Excellent service!
The buffet offers delicious home-cooked food at fantastic prices, and I've never been disappointed. I always have a wonderful experience here, thanks to the friendly wait staff. The menu includes fried green tomatoes, catfish, regular fish, ribs, pork, fried chicken, and chicken dumplings, plus they serve an excellent breakfast as well. Kids eat free from Monday to Thursday! Fred's Market is a local Southern buffet chain with several locations in Central Florida. The restaurant has a spacious and modern decor. The service was pleasant. The food varied in quality; the biscuits were fluffy and delicious, and the cheese eggs were enjoyable. Overall, everything was good and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
This is an amazing buffet featuring delicious Southern dishes. The salad bar offered all the typical choices. The fried chicken breast was both crispy and juicy, while the ribs were flavorful. The strawberry shortcake was fantastic. The service was quick and welcoming. We were seated immediately on a Wednesday evening, and most of the tables were occupied.
I wanted to mention my server, Samantha, who was fantastic. She made sure our glasses were always full and stayed on top of everything we needed. It was also a pleasure to chat with her. Great job on hiring Samantha! We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful dinner and a delightful evening overall.
Used to be great,now it's kinda ok. Food wasn't exactly hot or fresh. Gravy had a funny smell and tasted burnt. A couple next to us said the same thing. Fried chicken was over cooked and dry. But the beef tips and white rice was great. So was the turkey and rice soup! Definitely couldn't complain about either of those. Réservez une table maintenant
