Two overnight stays in the free spirit are enough to estimate the hotel a little. Breakfast: 25,00€ per person. For this, there are also baking rolls, waiting on the coffee machine (at peak times, gymnastics at the jam, because the huge glasses are worked in the buffet so that the sleeves in the butter positioned below produce beautiful patterns. Eggs, eggs, eggs, as Heinz Strunk would say. The service team was already overwhelmed.Rooms: Anyone who hopes for individual ambience with “free-spiritual” interior must look further. We had three rooms. All three uniforms. Anyone who celebrates a yellow light concept from two pseudo industrial style lamps above the bed will develop party moods here...

We stayed here more often and were always satisfied. There were charging stations for e-cars whose use was included in the price. Our last visit this summer this year has destroyed this positive impression. The staff is quickly irritated and then remains unfriendly. The charging stations were removed and replaced by paid without us confirming the reservation by phone, and explicit request to inform. We had planned 20 more nights in Göttingen for a period of 3 months. We have not booked Hotel Freigeist anymore.

Good location to the railway station and to the city, great design, pleasant atmosphere...also the restaurant is nice, but the card is uninhabited for the first time, I needed Google for explanation. The price for a small glass of wine (0.15 ?! I find too high. I didn't use breakfast for the same reason.I had a room on the first floor towards the street and then unfortunately heard the traffic, so it woke up quite early.
