Freihaus Brenner - Réservation de table

Two of us dined on a Wednesday evening in the first week of September. The restaurant was busy but we had a reservation and were seated immediately. Our server spoke fluent English and explained the daily specials for which there was no English translation. We...ordered the special starter, a plate of fresh tomatoes with a buffalo mozzarella accompanied by a basil sorbet. For mains, we chose the fresh caught trout and char farmed locally at Wildbad Kreuth and asked for them to be roasted. I highly recommend this place out of many reasons, the drive up to the restaurant is amazing with stunning views over the Tegernsee plus the Freihaus is an authentic Bavarian restaurant and very beautiful. The food was very tasty and the server was able to...communicate in English, they had English menus available as well. I have been to the Freihaus many times for lunch and dinner and this time was the first time I took my wife and she was very impressed. Food and service was always exceptional. The roasted potatoes, the classic Bavarian dishes including the dessert were super delicious...we will be back for sure!

Knowing this place from many years ago, we ended up here after a nice lake cruise and a little hike up the hill. The Freihaus offers stunning views on their patio of the lake and surrounding mountains during the day. We enjoyed drinks, cake and...coffee during our stay and were served very well and professional. A wide selection of beer, wine and cocktail choices made this late afternoon visit very pleasant. A must see in the area.

I go here since nearly 20 years. Quality constant and always above average, but never brilliant. A lot of old fashioned dishes on the menu like Kalbshaxe and Forelle Blau. Very lovely view over the lake. Not suitable for socially insecure visitors. The typical customers...are social upstarts with black Cayennes, and she wearing a LV bag, or shabby-looking old rich. When visiting Bad Wissee for the second time, I had to return to Freihaus as it had made a great impression on me during my first trip three years ago. Lovely views overlooking Bad Wissee, great food, romantic atmosphere. Bavarian cuisine based dishes. Suggest to...book in advance.

On recommendation, we ate here with our German friends for a celebratory meal there was an English menu provided. Quality traditional Bavarian food and good service in a stunning location overlooking Lake Tegernsee expensive but worth it for a special occasion.

Excellent food. Went with large group of colleagues from work. Everyone was very pleased with the food, menu, setting, and service. I shared the lamb chops they were excellent. Beautiful venue overlooking the lake. Look forward to returning with my family.
