Cute interior, great energy, average taste. We stopped by this cafe on our way to Lethbridge. There is no parking lot, only street parking. I initially wanted to grab a breakfast item, but was turned off by the high price $16-$18 per main). We got 2 pastry items and and iced latte. By far, my favourite item was the iced latte, which had a nice round taste, no acidic notes. The pastry items cruffin and breakfast nest) was very average. The cruffin was hard to cut into using utensils. Furthermore, we asked the staff to heat up our pastries but it wasn’t even warm by the time it was brought to the table. Overall I would go back for a drink, but could skip the food.
We ordered a pepperoni/mozzarella pizza. What arrived at our table was absolutely outstanding and left the kitchen in a perfect manor!! The crust around the pizza was fantastic (the best i’ve had) and had a perfect amount of char to it. The complete opposite of a disappointing dinner couldn’t have asked for better. The service was amazing and our waiter perfectly compensated for any additional changes we asked for without any excuses. Recommend 100
Nice place, great vibe, super friendly staff, dishes look amazing- perfect for instagram. However, the taste is not perfect. French toast is not French toast, tastes more like cinnamon cake(reminds me of banana bread texture), Brie dish was a disappointment, very dry bread and cold Brie not worth the money, the avocado toast was delicious. Coffee was ok. Lemonade was good. So, for $100 breakfast it was not worth at all.
