Since I first discovered this restaurant, it has become my favorite spot in Surrey. The portion sizes may seem a bit expensive, but there's a valid reason for that. The sheer amount of food you receive is impressive, and if you're not a big eater, you'll definitely have leftovers for later. If you like mushroom Swiss burgers, I highly recommend trying one here; it's likely the best I’ve ever tasted. Honestly, I enjoy bringing friends who have never heard of this place. It truly deserves more recognition.
Sometimes it's great when nothing changes. 35 years of going to Fresgoe's at least once a month and except for a few cosmetic updates nothing has changed. The menu provides every kind of comfort food you could dream up and some of the dishes would put your mother's specialties in second place. The portions are huge. The prices are great. Don't expect luxury. Just be prepared to loosen your belt and push your chair back from the table a few inches.
This restaurant offers freshly baked dishes that are generously portioned and full of flavor. It's family-friendly with high chairs available for little ones and has great music playing in the background. Despite the cafeteria-style setup, the ambiance is calm and inviting, and a daily newspaper is always on hand. The staff are genuinely warm and welcoming to families.
You really get ur bang for ur buck.. unless u are a huge eater most meals can be shared or taken home when you do not finish the whole meal. Everything down to the bread is made in house. Walter even butchers some of his own meat tgat is served..I ha r worked tgere and eaten there for 30 plus yrs will always go back..
