The banh mi here is really good! I get plain, fresh bread rolls here for really cheap around 30c each) . But the reason why I’m writing this review is that they sell my absolute favourite dessert here! It’s not on the menu, it’s a special so you might not be able to get your hands on them. I came here on Tuesday afternoon, if that helps. <br/ <br/ Pandan slices $3.50: the slices itself are not sugary, instead they’re quite plain tasting with nutty sesame seeds on top and some Pandan essence. The dipping sauce is really the game changer, it’s sweet but has a caramelised taste to it, delicious!! <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/
A great place for a quick and tasty feed. It's always busy but has an efficient numbering system once orders are placed. My main staples are the grilled chicken or mixed hams with meatballs banh mi with extra butter/pate. The bread is just the right crispiness without cutting up the roof of your mouth. For a fulfilling meal, I usually pair it with a pate chaud (banh pate so/mini meat pastry), three color dessert (che ba mau) or hollow donuts (banh tieu).
Always come here to buy their vietnamese roll. The bbq pork and grilled chicken are our fave.The succulent meat combine with fresh bread, carrot pickles, cucumber, etc make this roll very filling.For $5 a roll it is something you don't want to miss out.Even though the line was quite long during lunch time, the wait wasn't that bad because the staff were very efficient and quick.
Busy little place with some tables and chairs out the front.Really nice Banh Mi from this place, so much so that I had two.My girlfriend had a grilled chicken with everything and I had a grilled pork and a grilled chicken with everything except coriander.Great tasting rolls.I would definitely return and can highly recommend this place.
