We have ordered take out from here but decided to dine in this time. We were greeted and sat immediately. Hostess was also our server. We ordered chai tea and they were strong and flavourful. I had two of them. Our server brought us papadam with chutney. We ordered 3 dishes and one side for 3 people. Our food came relatively quickly and was well prepared, fresh and tasted delicious. Zero complaints about the food. However in hindsight we did order too much for three people.
Well I have to say I was not impressed. Took forever to get our meal.30 minutes. And only two other tables. Had the platter half the chicken was raw on the inside the other dry and over done. Lamb dish was good but a 4 at best.prawn dish done right but sauce again 4 at best. No one came and ask how during our meal how things were. We showed the raw chicken at the end when we ask for the bill.she took it back and showed the cook.went to pay and they wanted full price even
Okay first of all. Food was decent. But just have to say for the price I was left a bit underwhelmed. $17.50 is just a bit pricey for butter chicken and rice with no naan or drink, when competing places in town offer dinner combos for 20 bucks. Service was decent. Overall just think that the prices need to go down on the main menu to compete with everyone else. Cannot comment on the buffet however since I haven't ordered from it as of yet.
Took my mom out for dinner so we could try a new place to eat. I had heard mixed reviews about the service but it was great. We were greeted at the door, taken to a table immediately. Our server was prompt and very nice. Our food was delicious! Full of flavor. We got the coconut chicken and the beef curry with the garlic, sage naan bread. Definitely will be back.
Food was delicious, and abundant. Naan bread was the best I've had. tandoori platter was a wonderful display of flavours. Our server is exceptional, prompt, courteous, and friendly. Amazing, she took our order without writing it down and served it up absolutely correct. What a memory!
I came for the lunch buffet. The food was just good , but not great. It 's sister stores in Victoria are better in terms of selection and flavor. That being said, the food was still delicious and the service was great. Once it has been open for longer, I might retry the lunch buffet.
