We went to Freudiger's Hardern Pintli for dinner last night. From arrival to leaving it was simply awesome!Staff greeted us warmly at the front door.Chef Andre came out to talk to us twice.Nadja our waitress was professional, friendly and helped us with translation of menu. (We are Australian and speak no other language!) She even assisted to put on our big heavy jackets for us when we left! Nice touch!!!!Busy night and 13 staff working. Sensational service as a result of having lots of staff and trained well.Owner was there to talk to us and answer any questions also.Food was simply awesome from entree to dessert. A taste sensation! Well done everyone! Don't change a thing.....The restaurant looked stunning with all the Christmas decorations. We will visit again before we leave the area.
Went here last year actually because of the Reviews. It is not close to the city and i almost thought we were lost, in the middle of nowhere this restaurant with full parking was stood there with beautiful decorated lights.As it was a spontaneous visit on a tuesday night, we were surprised that this place was packed and almost no seats for us.This is a Family based restaurant so this had a personal touch. The ambience was very swiss and i cant even describe how impressed i am. They dont have much on the menu but this was a good sign for us, meaning they do it fresh. Great place, we go there every once in a while as we live close by. Undisputedly the best restaurant in Lyss, so at times it's hard to get a table, particularly when you cannot sit outdoors. Hardernpintli is very nice-priced cozy place, the service is always friendly, the food is great, their daily specials take you by surprise. That's how an excellent restaurant ought to be!
The food and atmosphere were great but the service could have been better. We think the waitress who waited tables in the main room and in the annex simply forgot about us. We sat in front of our empty plates fot nearly 50 minutes after having finished our main course. But apart from that we were very satisfied with our visit.
