At the end of my Sylt stay, I wanted to enjoy crabs again in the evening. Abis Friesenkate was welcoming at the beginning of the Westerländer pedestrian zone near the railway station. Here you can sit outside in the pedestrian zone or inside. I opted for a Rhabarber choir, then a crab soup and as the main course a North Sea plate. This consisted of two fish fillets and a kiln potato with crabs. Crab soup and fish fillets were very delicious; in the oven potato, Quark was more than Sour cream, so I did not find it optimal. The portion was large and very saturating, the operation was fast and friendly, the prices appropriate. I'll be happy to come back at the next Sylt visit.

we liked and tasted in the friesenkate. the ambiente is a welcome change to all the chic restaurants in the surroundings: simple and cozy. the service was very friendly and helpful. the food convinced in quantity, taste and price. the North Sea plate with the foil potato was simple but good, also the putebrust with the picant sauce was convincing. especially tasty, by the way, also the fresh salad!We would like to recommend that those with a smaller budget looking for an uncomplicated but satisfactory possibility of laying in the center of westerland.
very central location, more than nice and balanced operation, qualitatiw very good food, hot and fast served, pleasant price-performance ratio without the usual sylt rash, glowing wine for example only half as expensive as in the sansibar and then the double amount, hot and tasty, eat just as well, so price-performance very good

We ended up eating twice at this restaurant. Very friendly reception and service. The food was local specialties and we couldn't choose. That's why we had to go back. Was nice to be recognized as a return customer. Great value for your money.

The atmosphere and operation simply great, the food just delicious no matter what you want it tastes fantastic and that at prices are just great. I can only recommend
