Frieze Ice Cream Factory

I'm pretty disappointed by this place. I expected much better based on the reviews but the ice cream did not live up to the hype. We came around 7- 8 pm, there was no wait. We were able to try max 2 samples before making a decision. The icecream scoop I ended up buying was icy and pretty mediocre. Maybe because it wasn't refrigerated correctly or it's the last bit of ice cream in the container. It was the end of the day so there wasn't a lot of ice cream left in the containers. The ice cream was not worth $6. I felt as if I was eating the leftover frosty bit from a tub of icecream that I could've gotten from CVS or Wahlgreens. I got strawberry btw. The sorbets sound good though.

We always try to support local places, especially this one since began treating our kids there when they were little. The ice cream is still 'homemade ', and they still come up with new, creative flavors (or try to anyway). Of course, through the years, the inevitable price hikes have come, due mostly to the ever increasing rents in the area. Still, the ice cream is tasty enough to make it worth the effort to walk off the busy promenade of Lincoln Road to find it. There are other, more conveniently located ice cream options on the promenade itself, but homemade is where it 's at (though be prepared to wait in line when they 're busy).

I am a native and do not worry to overestimate south beach eis from time to time. but if I ride 7 dollars for a single creature butter pecan on what she made in house, I expect it is great. the cone was so stale that even the corpse sitting next to the bank where I sat, it would not eat! this was clearly a food business cone and it was not even fresh, completely grown. the young man who works was pleasant to all customers including me. that's the only positive thing I can say!

very dissapoint! the load gave about the wrong order and their answer was that I should contact about that I will be reborn! but they left me without my command, that was actually dessert for some guests I had to dinner! it was the load fault! Today they lost 3 pints eis that I throw away and also lost a customer!

I probably had higher expectations than what I experienced. ice was freezing when it was frozen over and over. very expensive for the tiny shovel I received.
