The food here is fantastic from Thursday to Saturday. Their tacos, made with homemade tortillas, are absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly, making me feel like I'm coming home for dinner. The Menudo served on Sundays can be customized with or without hominy; I personally prefer it without, and it’s packed with flavor. You definitely won’t be disappointed!
Unlike the typical taco salads that are usually just a jumble of ingredients thrown into a tostada bowl, this one was skillfully made! Every ingredient was perfectly balanced, allowing each flavor to shine—no sogginess whatsoever! The chicken was especially fantastic. The burrito was equally delightful! And the iced tea was refreshing too. We will definitely be back if we're in the area again!
I had a wonderful experience at Frijoles, a charming spot in Beaumont that offers authentic Jalisco-style Mexican cuisine. After attending church, I stopped by for lunch and was greeted by a pleasant atmosphere, delightful music, and stunning wall art. The service was exceptional, making my visit even more enjoyable. Frijoles truly feels like a little piece of Mexico right in Beaumont.
Our visit to Applesby's was in honor of my son' birthday. We enjoyed meal that was fresh and delicious served by a fantastic waitress named Kathleen. She was attentive, friendly and even served a nice sundae for my son's special day. Bonus we. earneda Top Gun movie ticket which my son totally enjoyed when he viewed the movie. Very memorable day. The food here is incredibly delicious and truly authentic, featuring Jalisco-style Mexican cuisine. I visited for lunch after church, and the atmosphere was delightful, with good music, lovely wall art, and excellent service. Frijoles is definitely a little slice of Mexico right in Beaumont!
The nachos were delicious! However, it has been four years since my last visit, and I noticed that the portions have become smaller while the prices have gone up. Paying $14 for vegetarian nachos feels excessive, and I understand why the place is often empty. It's a bit disappointing...
I ordered a chimichanga burrito and a carne asada burrito for takeout. Both were generous portions and incredibly tasty. The customer service was outstanding. The staff member who helped us was knowledgeable, made great recommendations, and kept us updated throughout the process.
