This café is beautiful! I love the aesthetic deco that complements the whole atmosphere. We ordered the French toast and the pork toasties. The French toast is actually divine! I absolutely love how it incorporated Asian flavours to it - the pandan coconut cream and the berry compote just makes my tastebuds sing???????? The French toast was fluffy and moist on the inside, perfectly balanced out with the crunchy texture of berry compote and pistachio bits. Would defo recommend this!
The toastie was superb as well. You can taste the gooey goodness before even diving in and the sweet potato crisp are actually crispy and seasoned well.
Wish there were more options on the menu though! Overall...
It's the little things that were missing. The chicken salad was delicious, with dainty pomegranate seeds and dressing. It was so nice in fact that we wanted to take the leftovers home. I asked for a container and it was just no deal. I find that odd. Most places have the option. We also asked for side plates to share and got one only, which I also found odd. I won't be rushing back but the food was so yum that I might be swayed.
This place has been on our list for ages, we've been waiting for a quieter week day to walk down and give it a try.
Upon arriving the staff were super friendly and greeted us with a smile and hello.
We ordered coffee, hot chocolate, eggs on toast and some pastries.
The coffee was really really nice..smooth with a kick.
Eggs were cooked well and the pastries fresh.
We will be back and will give the breakfast burger a try.
Without sounding too repetitive, new eateries pop up much too quickly and whilst I’m excited that Perth’s food scene has had a change in direction, I can’t get to all these places quick enough. Frisch & Barc was one of them, with the chilli crab omelette and french toast being the staple favourite.

Awhile back we came to try Frisch & Barc but were unable to find a parking spot but this time we arrived bright and early and were able to find street parking. We tried the breakfast burger with special sauce and Rosemary salt fries, panacotta with milo crumble and banana fritter and a croissant and all meals were beautifully presented and tasty.
Best coffee in Como - worst place to find parking. Fortunately, we were just getting take away coffees but I had to be ''dropped off'' :) Lovely space inside and out in a new building. Food coming out looked great and my coffee was super smooth and made with love!
While we weren’t able to enjoy this café’s Scandinavian interior and cool ambiance because of limited parking and a screaming baby, we’ll be back sometime.
