Very disappointing visit to the Frog Pond Cafe as tourists in Owen Sound. We were made to feel uncomfortable from the moment we walked in the door. No form of greeting when we walked in by any of the staff, the place was empty at that time. The customers that came in after us were all greeted by name and friendly banter.There was little or no ‘customer service’ towards us other than the cashier. Unfortunately a hair was found in our food (understand that this can happen) and the response to pointing this out to staff was indifference. I've been going to Frog Ponds for years and have always loved it but today I had the most amazing beverage that just blew my mind! The Hazelnut Brownie Cappucino is amazing!! I normally just have straight espresso drinks and don't go in for syrups and shot but this drink changed my mind. The hazelnut and chocolate flavours are rich and full and compliment the espresso without being too sweet. Scrumptious!

I truly appreciate that this café offers an outstanding vegan menu option that is delicious. Often non-vegan establishments just have a simple and bland veggie sandwich, but not this place! They serve a fantastic hummus pesto on marble rye bread that is lightly grilled. This sandwich is so tasty that I mention it frequently. They also have dairy-free options available for their coffee, which is a bonus.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. It was a hidden gem that I wish I had known about sooner. I ordered an iced chai latte and a breakfast bagel sandwich, both of which were of excellent quality and reasonably priced. The service was quick and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was wonderful. I will definitely be returning in the future. Réservez une table maintenant

I was out for a casual walk, taking in the sites of historic buildings and a beautiful day. Stopped in for a delicious latte and some banana bread. Great staff and a cozy atmosphere. Kitchen was closed so I'll have to go back and try the food. I'm sure it will be yummy too. ? I highly recommend checking this place out.

Overall, not bad. Food was so-so but the coffee was good although not great. They close rather early. If you want to add your own cream and sugar, you really can't as there did not appear to be any available for customer use. Lots of room inside though so there was never a problem finding a table.

The ambience is very cute with witty quotes and cute structures. We couldn’t eat as their kitchen closes at 2 on Saturday. We had a matcha latte, lavender hot chocolate and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.Beverages were not that great.Ambience and vibe is very nice.

Wonderful coffee shop in the heart of downtown. Busy, but not busy in a loud way. The coffee is tasty, and the staff are awesome. A true gem in the city of Owen Sound. Start here and wander the stores or the river front with a delightful coffee.
