Frohsinn - Réserver une table

For many decades, I used to eat at the Restaurant Frohsinn in Opfikon some 4 miles from Zurich Airport, with airline and tour operator friends. I knew that this restaurant also had a few rustic rooms but no airport bus shuttle service. On May 20, 2019, I had difficulties finding accommodations near Zurich Airport. I called the restaurant,, and I was told that the owners, the Grimm Family had decided a couple of years ago to turn the former farm ranch building (the Kuhstall) into a 4-star hotel with 30 rooms and that city bus #759 with ample baggage space now stops right next to the hotel and restaurant. Great as always. Everything is true, absolutely EVERYTHING. I don't know the hotel, but I think that's great too. Nice garden restaurant. Waiting for the garden season Pass by yourself. Very important: RESERVE!!!!!

Menù with wide choice. I liked a lot the pasta and polenta with Rockford cheese. Wine ok. Service good. Price in the average for Zurich area. I recommend the Restaurant.

Delicious Röstis that are very hearty. Definitely no one goes home hungry. Nice ambience. Reservation strongly recommended.
