Came here Monday 04/24/2023.From Philly is a sandwich shop specializing in Cheesesteaks. They also sell sides like potato salad, chips, etc.I got the #1 original and posted a picture of the menu here. There's not too much to say here. It's a small shop with no line and no crowd. Most people probably wouldn't eat inside here, just take the sandwich somewhere else.They're decently generous with the meat portion but the sandwich is relatively pricey. It tasted good, but not the kind of cheese that I was expecting. They use more provolone than anything.
I ordered half a pastrami sandwich at Half a Philly, and I was very disappointed. Each sandwich had barely two tablespoons of meat, which is unacceptable! They were also stingy with the cheese and other toppings. At $9.00 each, I expected much more. Overall, it felt like a total letdown. The parking situation was also terrible; it was filthy and littered with hypodermic needles. I recommend you skip this place and head to other sandwich shops like Tommy Pastrami, Frank's, Philly's Best, or John's – they are all infinitely better!
I ordered pastrami sandwich and it was covered on the bottom of the bread with thick white cheese and mayonnaise OMG it was like a grilled cheese . The pastrami does not mesh with this at all I?ve never heard of a pastrami coveted in cheese it was horrible and expensive too. If you go here ask for no mayo and cheese ?
Staff here are very pleasant, my order was wrong and they did not ask any questions. This is the GOOD! Now the bathroom. The cheese steak was not bad, it had the perfect amount of onions and they were well cooked. The problem was that the sandwich had no meat, it was like eating a cheese and onion sandwich

Cheesesteak day. Came by and picked up a full cheesesteak with everything and a medium potato salad. Also a slice of cheesecake. Philly was delicious. Really good bread. Good ratio of peppers and onions to steak. Enjoyed the cheese combo. American white and provolone. Solid place. Check them out
One of the best cheese steaks I?ve ever had. Bread was delicious and meat was well seasoned. I recommend the fries as well. Fries are crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. If only the portion size was more. I would highly recommend.
I enjoyed the food, and the cashier was very nice. It was my first visit, and I had a few questions. The cashier was incredibly helpful in guiding me to find something I would like and offered some great suggestions.
The cheesesteak was fairly average. While the quality of the meeting was high, the flavor was quite unpleasant. Perhaps we just happened to visit on an off day. I would consider giving it another chance.

Fast and easy when ordering ahead. Small Philly cheesesteak is perfect size with a side of potato salad. Taste pretty good for a quick lunch
Sandwiches here are good, fresh and substantial. Service is awesome. Everyone that I've interacted with have all been so nice.
